It was right at a month to receive it. It depends on how many orders they have in line.

Make sure the bright knobs on the front panel are pushed in and not pulled out. All of the controls on the front panel are very interactive so when you turn one knob you may need to change some others until you find the tone you want at the volume you are going to play at.
I would also change the 12AX7 closest to the power tubes (V3) to a 12AX7LPS. It will take some of the OD fizz out.
I haven't really tried any other speakers as I just received my HRM a week ago but the Celestion G12-65 in mine sounds really nice.

you are sure the V3 is closest to the power-tube?

Yes

Download this PDF and read.

I put a 12AX7LPS in V3 and it really opened up the tone of my HRM. Much sweeter with less fizz.

Here's a pic of my new 50w OTS HRM. I purchased the completed chassis from Nik and the cab with Celestion G12-65 from Gabkits.

5  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: HRM Bluesmaster sound clips anyone..? on: February 28, 2009, 10:21:45 PM
Would love to hear HRM vs HRM BM clips too.

I wish Nik would post sound clips himself or have someone where he lives post basic clips of all his amp models.

If it was the same person doing the recordings, it would be easier to hear the differences in each amp model than having different people send in their clips, and it would really help people decide which amp they would like to order.

I just finished it last night. I will post some better pics tonight:

Nice cab!
Who built it??
What speaker do you have in it?

Are you ordering the speaker from Gabkits? If you are, Gabkits will wire it for you. You just pay (I think) $15 for the speaker cord which comes with the 1/4" male plug for the back of the amp.
8  Website, Store / General / Cabinet builders in the States? on: February 11, 2009, 12:51:24 PM
I have a Overtone HRM chassis being built by Nik and am looking for a combo cabinet.
Does anyone have any suggestion on builders?

Thanks

When I asked Nik the question this was his response:

"Greg

The Bluesmaster version has a smoother overdrive, but cannot be as
aggressive as the regular HRM.

The difference is values of the components inside the amp, pretty much.

Hope this helps, let me know.

Thanks!

Nik"
