I added the C-Lator about a year after completing the amp wich 'TAMES' it a bit, but in a good way.  This is my Duesenberg Outlaw guitar plugged directly into the amp with a 2X10 self-designed speaker cabinet. 

I am axinously awaiting the OTS lunchbox version (along with many others), but have to say that for live performances the tone from this thing is worth luggin' the iron to a gig or recording session.  Every time...

My OTS (built from a kit) has developed a raspy tone.  If I pluck a guitar string lightly, I get little or no sound and it is fizzy sounding.  If I pluck it harder it sounds raspy - as if the sound is cutting out. 

The mid-boost switch doesn't seem to do anything and I tried resoldering the connections with no effect but this is more than likely an unrelated problem. 

I have access to an ocilliscope through a friend but do not own one.

Any idears on where to start troubleshooting?  Any expected voltages or other testing info would be greatly appreciated.

Can someone check the wiring on the attached spec sheet and images?  My question is regarding the two green/yellow wires.  I have the one from the primary side connected to the fuse, and the one from the secondary side connected to the star ground.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
