Hello, i got a 50w OTS and i want to convert it to 100w, is it hard to do for a amp tech if i send the plans from a 100w with the amp? or is it just to install 2 extra tubesockets and conecting the to the others? im not at all handy with the tech part so "in a nuttchell" explonation would be nice.

I decided to order a 2x12 with g12-65 from Tube-town, so i will post when i compare it with my current Framus 2x12 celestion gold when i get it.

I orderd it in dec -08 an revcived it in Feb -09. I ordered it just as it was then, nothing extra. thats why i called it unmodded, so i really dont know whats inside the amp. Maybe you can check with ceriatone what schematic they used then if you want it like mine.

yes its the od i have the volume on the guitar on 8 or 9 mabey. I think the camera ads some high cuz its not that mutch high in the room when i play it.

Im wondering if anyone has som experience buying from the Tube-town company in Germany?

Im intressted in buying a American style 2x12 with G12-65 and would be happy about any information about how the buildquality is on their cabinets and if it sounds "Good", "bad" or "alright"

Im Currently playing a Framus 2x12 with Celestion v30 Gold.

I dont really know the science behind it but when i got my OTS 50w i plugged the Cab in an left the amp on for about 50h with all the pots at 3 oclock. I played the amp every 10 h or so and i thought it just sounded better and better. Now my amp has on over 300 h i think or so, and it sounds GREAT.

What is the Ground switch for? and where sould it be, at 1 N or 2?

i did it yesterday and it was as easy as you say. its at 10.30 now ad there is a great deal of OD now, and still alot of dynamiks and headroom left.

i dont know what this "Hans" guy is talking about cuz my amp sounds outstandingly good! and its EVERYTHING that i was expecting from it. Running it with a 2X12 Framus with Celestion 30 Gold. The minor OD tweeking did a lot.

I got my OTS 50 today without any mods. Im more of a player then a tweaker so i dont know mutch about the technical stuff of this amp. Im giving my amp a "burnthrough" as i make this post.

I tried the Clean chan and it got everything that i was expecting out of it, But for th OD chan, i would liek som more gain, the way it is now its a bit crunchy and not verry OD. If someone could tell me where to look for the OD trimpot and how to modify it for a bit more OD with a lot of punch and edge with a nice headroom i would be verry greatful.
