I have 2 Celestion Heritage G12-65 speakers for sale. I purchased new in Jan. so they have had some break in time.  These are the 15 ohm speakers

I am asking $155 each shipped within the USA.

Please no trade requests. I sold my OTS head so need to sell the speakers as well.

3  Community / Classifieds / Fuchs Verbrator- reverb plus tube buffered effects loop on: April 20, 2009, 03:55:39 PM
I have a Fuchs Verbrator Reverb and tube buffered effects loop for sale. This is basically a D'lator with reverb added.

It is driven by 1 12ax7 tube.

It has a great sounding digital reverb and really warms up the sound of a paasive effects loop.

See Zuckers reviews of the Verbrator in previous posts. I've only had this since January 2009 but have decided to sell my Ceriatone OTS so don't need it at this point.

I paid $379 new but will take $ 279 plus shipping.

email me at btencer@qwest.net if interested.

Thanks,

I have a Ceriatone Overtone Special for sale with head cabinet. This is a fairly new amp but played enough to break it in. I purchased in November of 2008.

It currently has Svetlana winged C 6l6's in it but I can put the JJ's back in if you prefer.

I'm asking $1000 plus shipping. Email me at btencer@qwest.net if you would like pictures.
5  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Which reverb pedal for OTS??? on: April 02, 2009, 06:32:38 PM
I use the Fuch's revebrator and it sounds great plus I have the tube buffered effects like the dumbleator.
6  Ceriatone / Overtone / Tonebone Loopbone Switchbone on: April 02, 2009, 06:29:42 PM
I'm getting a Tonebone Loopbone pedal board loop switcher that also has a "Switchbone" feature which let's you plug a 1/4" guitar cord or TRS between it and the amp
for  amps that have a 1/4" footswitch input  to connect a pedal for channel switching.

I was wondering if anyone is using this feature to turn on the overdrive and how you adapted the 5 pin input on the OTS in order to use the 1/4 from the loopbone"?
7  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Effects pedals and effects loop on: April 02, 2009, 06:22:19 PM
After some research I've decided to put a true bypass switch in the cry baby and have ordered a tonebone loopbone for my pedal board.  It has 2 separtae loops in it and is true bypass. It also has a "Drag" control which let's you match the pedal board with your picjups so the level is the same as when the guitar is straight into the amp.

The loopbone has a class A boost as well which could be a nice feature. I'll see how it works when I get it.

Anyone else using one of these?
8  Ceriatone / Overtone / Effects pedals and effects loop on: March 31, 2009, 07:11:14 PM
I was playing a gig last night and my pedal board was acting up so I disconnected oit from my OTS and the sound of the amp was much livlier. The OD channel was wonderful, with a lot of balls and clarity. Previously when running my pedal board, the OD channel sounded muddy and fuzzy when ever I engaged it.

I'm using a Barber Direct Drive, a Keeley TS-9, a Boss tremolo, an old Arion Chorus,
an older Cry Baby, and a Volume pedal on my pedal. It is powered by a pedal power plus.

I use the OD pedals to have some variation and different levels of distortion.

The Cry Baby, arion, and probably the Boss TR-2 are not True Bypass.

After last night, I am rethinking using all these pedals in front of the amp and moving some back to the effects loop where I have the Fuchs Reverberator which is reverb and a tube buffered effects loop control.

How are other OTS users using their loops and pedals and what works well for you all?

I would also like to get some switches for the effects in the loop and wondered what others are using. I'ved looked at some online like the "Loopy 2"
9  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Need for bias? on: January 10, 2009, 02:37:01 AM
Is anyone biasin the SED winged C's any hotter? They seem to have more harmonics when running a little hotter than othe 6L6's.

What is a good bias point for the SED's on the OTS?

11  Ceriatone / Overtone / Jenkins Highway 61 speaker cabinet on: December 17, 2008, 05:07:22 PM
I'm considering ordering a Jenkins 2X12 cab for my OTS.  Has anyone had experience with the Jenkins cabinets?
12  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: What a difference :) new preamp tubes on: December 16, 2008, 09:33:24 PM
Yes,

I like the tungsram ecc83's as well. I use them in my Groove Tubes Soul-O 45 as well and the tone is very warm and smooth.

I just received my OTS and have been trying different preamp tubes. I have the Tungsram in V1 and an RFT in V2. I will probably get another Tungsram to have in V2.

I would rather kkep the 12ax7 type tubes rather than going to a 12ay7 or less.
