33  Ceriatone / Overtone / Help With EQing A Ceriatone OTS50w on: February 06, 2012, 06:28:53 AM
Hey Guys

Just wondering if you can help with EQing the OTS50w. I only got it last week and I cant seem to get a smooth overdrive. I am using a fender Am St Strat with D Allen Jm Rnb pick ups (scooped mid pu's) I also have a 1x12 cabinet loaded with a Celestion g12-65 and also a clator which has a Hardwire Reverb pedal in it.

Any tips guys? I find that I am getting muddy tone its okay for lead but for rhythm it has no definition and sounds flabby..... Thanks guys

Matt

37  Ceriatone / Overtone / OTS 50w Help!!! Two Rock/John Mayer Mods???? on: February 05, 2012, 12:33:26 PM
Hi Guys

Just wondering who here has a OTS 50w? I love it, I am just wondering if there are tips on getting some super smooth overdrive tones? At the moment mine are a little too fat for my liking and I cant seem to tweak it to smoothness.... I am using a Am Strat with D Allen RnB Pick ups!!!

Also is there any sort of setting to get a similar two rock type tone? Or how can I mod the amp to sound more like a Two Rock?Huh? Are there schematics or anything like that cause I have found a amp repairer/servicer here in Adelaide

Im really loving the amp but there is so much versatility to it that it takes time to tweak and im just wondering if people can give me some of there settings they use....

Cheers
