2  Ceriatone / Hey What?! / MAXWATT 4X12 CAN ANYBODY TELL ME ANYTHING? on: December 22, 2014, 12:35:56 AM
Hello Everyone
I've been offered a sweet deal on a Maxwatt 4x12 (Chinese made Hiwatt cab). Does anybody have any experience whatsoever with these cabs?
Do you happen to know if it's made of plywood or mdf? Any info on the speakers?
Thank you all for any information you can provide.

Chipdog,
Could you please post a pic of your cab again? I can't visualize it.
Thanks

There's a lesson there somewhere, I think.
When a website veers away from their original mission and become 'property' of a few things get out of hand.
You just can't mix commerce and free exchange of information, IMHO.
If I own a site and I want, say, to protect my amp-building buddies' interests, things will get downhill fast, as far as free information flow goes.
For those who want political-b.s.-free info, thanks to God there are still sites like this one, theampgarage, and powerscaling.com.

Oops,
Yes, it was on TGP.
You can find the links here no problem in the soundfiles section.

The problem with HC is that you have to wade through so much sh*t that the whole thing becomes tiresome after some time.
But you do find intelligent life there from time to time.

Just for kicks.
Try posting these links at TGP  Grin Chair Dance

Hi ChrisL,
LOL. Consider yourself lucky! My seven-year-old daughter is now in her heavy (as in nauseous) High School Musical thing!
Try concentrating with that!

Hi, let me ramble.
I usually go and check the amps section on TGP, to see if I can find anything interesting. Usually the interesting stuff is either here, or at the ampgarage. And now we also have powerscaling.com.
But those guys get the cake for funny! I've noticed that they are now taking what they think is 'a high tone' road, and they want to pretend that they weren't prejudiced and rude.
Seriously, it's a gas!

Not to wreck anybody's plane. But I tried to post (well, actually I POSTED) a link to a guy playing what I assume is a Ceriatone TW clone and guess what?
It was deleted! Vanished in the air!
How's that for kindness and respect? I feel so warm inside... Chair Dance

Hi everyone,
You all have seen Geetarpicker's youtube pickings, right? Now, check this guy out!
In one of the videos he even wears a 'dragon' T-shirt. Now, I wonder where I've seen that dragon drawing before...?

Enjoy!

Thank you very much for building this forum!
I've been gassing for a Ceriatone kit for some time now, and I would love to see the amps[i being discussed, without all the political (nazi) crap the other forums have indulged in recently.
Good work!
