The auction finished while I was held up at work.  Some lucky guy scored a C'tone-built HRM 100 in head cab with a Kleinulator for AUS$885.

I have my eye on a 100w HRM for sale. From reading and clips I really like the Bluesmaster, especially the clean tones.
So how difficult would it be to convert an HRM to BM specs?
 As I understand it, they're basically the same circuit. Would it be a matter of changing small component values, or are there different trannies and major wiring changes?


Experts please explain. (I don't think it's fair to bother Nik for info on a used amp. The man's busy enough!)

I emailed Nik a few days ago. The amp is ready, he's waiting to get an acceptable "lunchbox" cage from outside supplier.  There have been a few problems with this. He's seeing the guy this week, hopefully it will be OK.
I considered getting a working chassis and building my own head cab, but decided to wait. (My carpentry is crude.)

Any news on when this amp will be available? 

Thanks RS.  Do you have any idea of when this amp will be done? I do understand Nik's busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking competition.

Any more news on this? Sounds like exactly what I need. Looked at the schematic, I'm no electrician, but I can't see any pre-amp tubes. Is this amp going to be solid-state front end?
