Sweet amp!!!

The only add on was the external bias point and pot.  The impedence selector is no longer a option...comes with it when ordered.  Wow...bummer on the Super Bass.  Maybe just bad tubes?
Next year I'm going to order me a kit amp...I'll start with something easy and work my way up.  Hopefully to a Overtone Grin
Good luck with the amp!!!

Get one Grin

Haha, well, the SB is louder (obviously) and more aggressive. Channel I is a tad less bright compared to the JTM, but channel II is pretty much the same.

Well Radiohead I took your advice...I have a JTM45 ordered Chair Dance  After reading all the great feedback I couldn't fight my GAS attack...I got it really bad Grin

 ;DMore volume...more mojo;D

Sounds absolutely amazing Grin

A big 10/4...it is a awesome sounding amp!!!
128  Tw Clones / Expression / Re: pic and info about your express(ion) on: November 15, 2007, 06:29:20 AM
I think it's pushing more like 50watts Grin  My Expression breaks up at around the 9 O'clock on the dail... I set my volume at 1 O'clock on the dail.  Without my Airbrake attenuator I wouldn't be able play it at that setting.
One day I'm going take the Expression to my friends place and crank up the volume (no attenuator).  He lives out in the country so no need to worry about the neighbors.

Kool!!!
Not sure if I'll get an attenuator though, I'll have to see if it really is THAT loud  Wink
How's the volume to your ears?
I haven't had a chance to play my Expression without the Airbrake yet.  My neighbor's would really get pi$$ed at me if I did  Angry

My Expression was built by Ceriatone minus the tubes...No modifications.  I just loaded her up with some NOS El34's and Mullard 12ax7's...Great sounding amp!!!
131  Community / Gear / Re: So...What other gear do you all have? on: November 09, 2007, 07:55:07 PM
I'd rate them to a little higher than the standard production models.  The higher end stuff does feel really good, and plays like a dream.  It's like comparing a Honda Accord with a BMW.
The great thing about building a Warmoth special is that you can customize it to what you want in a guitar.  Fret size, nut type, type of wood, type of pups, etc.  The fun is tweaking it to your personal preference.  The end results is a axe that feels and sounds good in your hands.
On the resale side you're going to lose a few $$$'s.  The bodies I purchased from Warmoth.  Necks on Ebay...that's where I saved a few $$$'s!!!

My fillings in my teeth are getting loose just looking at that thing.  What a monster....ear plugs should come as part of the kit....lol.  Nice.
LoL...I almost swallowed my chewing gum Grin

134  Community / Gear / Re: So...What other gear do you all have? on: November 09, 2007, 10:05:31 AM
Thanks!!!  I gave her a make over last year...I changed a few parts to give her a new look.  She used to be a Heritage Softail.  I also added a few performance parts 45 Weber, cam etc.  She's a pretty and fast Grin
My Tele's all have the tummy and forearm contours...they feel like a Strat and look like a Tele.  That could be one of the reasons they don't jive with you.  Telecasters do feel kinda square and bulky.
You can also custom order a neck from Warmoth...they have several neck sizes to choose from.  My experiences with Warmoth have been all good.
Ah...my blue flamed Tele, my latest build.  The body is chambered and loaded with a set of WCR's Goodwoods.  She also has a Strat tremolo bridge...she's sweet Grin
