man the fuchs verbrator is awesome! The reverb is the best I've played. That includes the spring reverb on my DRRI and TRRI. Glad I picked this up.

Just got my hands on an analogman king of tone. Was a little disappointed at first but then I busted open the F@ckin manual and reallized there are internal trims for treble control. Once I got these dialed in, the pedal really came alive. The first channel is awesome for a boost and the second channel really kicks the overdrive to a beautiful level. It can get very good mayer tones (probably because it's based off of the bluesbreaker). I think the only thing I'm lacking is a compressor. Time to head over to the emporium on TGP.

Well I guess this is a little late in the game since I already pulled the trigger on one of these, but how does it stack up against the klein and the c-lator? I picked it because I was able to find a used one and it includes reverb.

I actually just picked up Fuchs Verbrator from TGP since it includes reverb and should accomplish the same thing. I'm still gonna try and see if my tech can look at it this weekend though. I do have a DMM! From which you could infer that I am good with that kind of stuff. And you would be wrong! How would I go about testing it? And if there was a short or something would that cause the switch to act like a breaker switch which wont stay in the on position? Ideally I would like to keep this because I feel I got a good deal on it and there is not an abundance of used ones out there. Thanks for the input and character references on Todd. I knew he was a standup guy as soon as he offered to refund my money before I shipped it back to him...

Ok I just want to update and say Todd has already refunded my money! Stand up guy! Sorry for jumping to conclusions but I already got screwed once today on ebay with a guy claiming he didn't get a package I delivered so I just assumed this was my unlucky day. I do want to leave the thread open though because Todd is giving me till monday to ship it back out to him so I can see if I can possibly get it fixed. So any ideas wouild be great at this point.

I posted an ad on here saying I wanted a kleinulator. A guy named Tod Wilcox answered via email and said he had one. We agreed on a price of $90 and he shipped it to me. I got it today and to my dismay the on/off switch will not stay in the on position. I's like it's spring loaded to return right back to the off position once you let go if that makes since. Even if I hold it in the on position the light doesn't come on and no sound comes from the amp. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on here?

Just got my two rock 1x12 in the mail yesterday. MAN! I'm loving the clean tones on the clean channel. Exactly what I had hoped for. I can get some pretty nice cleanISH sounds out of the OD Channel with no preamp boost also but to me the OD channel is a little dark sounding, I think I'll be using the clean channel on the amp mostly and coloring it with pedals. Loving the holy grail nano reverb in the loop as well. Sounds 10x better than the spring reverb on my DRRI, can't wait till the klein gets here today so I can see what the sounds like. Will try to record some clips soon.

Right now I'm without my amp because I sold my two Fenders and wont have a speaker to play through until my two rock cab arrives tomorrow. So I'm filling the void by thinking about it/talking about it. So what pedals are you guys running with your Overtone Specials? Both in the clean channel and OD channels? what kinds of sounds are you getting?? Clips are always nice too.
