This might be a dumb remark, but what about starting out with the OD channel and setting  a higher overall Volume and then using the ratio pot to turn down the clean channel.

Some people seem to have unlimited financial resources 

I have heard you need to give those speakers some time (10 hours playing)
I'm gettingm my cab at the end of next week ( I hope). Unfortunatly the amp will take a little longer.

I wonder which version will be " standard" by the time my amp is being built.

you said "I believe Nik is now using a modified version of my (actually Ayan / Lerner) layout for his standard amp"

Hey guys can you get a cover that fits the regular Overtone head cab?
I could always ask my sister in law but I rather wouldn't. Maybe I could convince her to start mass production.

Playing direct doesn't work. You need to download the file and then play it.

Clean sounds great. so does OD and OD with mid boost ( I guess you switched it on the front panel?). Personaly I didn't like the PAB mode so much. It seems a bit dark, but that is my taste obviously. No offense!

Very nice that you keep us posted on those tweaks.
In what way have the tweaks altered the sound? For me it's hard to compare clips because there are different guitars and effects. Curious to hear your opnion. Being totaly ignorant on the technical side of things I'd love to know what certain changes do.

I might come around to your place when I get my amp. I'm probably the only one here who has an expert living 1 mile away hehe
