Mainly a PPIMV.... But I'm open to suggestions, too. FYI: I have ZERO building skilz. I have an iron, and the last thing I used it for was cutting plastic! Just wanting to see what my options are. Is an express heavy enough for Tool/R.A.T.M./A Perfect Circle/Pearl Jam/Primus....(NOT teh KRUSHING Br00()TALZ!!!!1!!)....or would another amp be more suited to this style of music? I know that RATM (Tom Morello) used a 2204...but I never felt "tone" was his strong suit. Can anyone point me to some clips that AREN'T some old guy noodling around? I'm old too, but I try not to sound like it. Anything "modern" would be VERY helpful. Was also academically wondering about having 2 master volumes. One "pre" and one "post" Phase Inverter. Is this possible?

So if you order multiple amps (chassis only) do they pack them in one box? Is shipping based on total or individual weight? Instead of me starting another thread in the Marshall forum...is the 18w TMB EF86 a good candidate for a master volume? I'm looking for a low wattage tube chassis that can get a good, reasonably low volume, MV distortion and still be low power enough to crank (an 18w with pentode/triode and MV would be nice).
