1  British Style / JCM 800 2203, 2204, 2550, 2555 / Getting a 2203 clone in a few weeks! on: January 02, 2008, 01:34:42 AM
Hello, I am new to this board and am so excited that there is one! I have been talking with Nik for a little bit about the amp and some of the mods I want done. I have to sell my Marshall JCM800 2210 to get it but it will be worth the trouble I think!

The Marshall sounds great but I don't use all the features and it isn't as "organic" and loud as a 2203, being a split-channel. Has anyone tried the Legendary Tones mods in the amp? I am curious about how well they work and might want to do some of them, especially removing the brighter parts of the circuit. I also want to know if you can footswitch the inputs (A/B them) and if not what mod needs to be done to acheive this. The only other mod being done to it is a line out jack on the rear, after the power section. Thanks to all in advance! Great forum here, and I bet it's gonna get MUCH better/bigger very soon!
