Those are the one-and-only Joe Barden pickups.  Marin Hmmmm, lovely pickups but not SC, you see  Sami BTW what guitars did you use? Tele looks like '52 and strat is a Suhr but which model? Thanks ... Tele is Haar custom '52 with suhr pickups, strato is Suhr Henderson Classic and gibson is "lucille". I have Suhr pickups in my Strat too. Its interesting how different our tones are. Just shows the versatility of the amp. What are the Haar guitars like? Are they at a Suhr level? Marin |

thanks. I haven't tweaked the trimmer yet, but I guess that you have to take it out of the chassis (I am almost certain, actually).

Hey thanks.
Do you mean "gain" by "hair"?
When I heard the recording, I did notice that it had a bit more gain than what I was hearing in the room. I am new with the amp and cab and I still need to put into relation what I am hearing and what the mike is picking up (I hate playing with headphones). I left the "boost" on because it didn't sound thick enough to me. After hearing the recording, perhaps I could have left it out, or backed off the gain.
I had a bad tube when it arrived which I had replaced with another bad tube (my luck!). Now I have a good one and the OD of the amp just came together, so I am enjoying that part now.
Hey, it part of the fun discovering the various tones. I have had some busy weeks lately so I have spent maybe 10 hours total with the (most of its on Youtube!).

Thats a tone which I like too. Not really RF territory, but it works for me. This is a guitar which I had made here in Italy for me. It is versatile and has a nice tone. thanks Marin THAT is the tone....MAN, THAT is IT!!!! I cannot wait much longer for mine or I'll explode. what kind of guitar is that? I used 3 different settings to show that there are many possibilities. There is plenty of bottom, you just have to set it that way. M. Hey and thanks for posting the clean clip...but I need to ask: How are the tone controls set? It seems to have no bottom end at all? Are the clips pretty true to how it sounds? Your distorted tones on your video clip are great, but the clean clip worries me a little.
