Has anyone tried the electro harmonix Holy grail (the one with the one knob and one switch) ?
302  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: {D-lator in amp}-Has anyone done this yet? on: December 11, 2009, 02:08:54 PM
Yeah having space for it was an issue we talked about. He said that he could do it although. From all the people that have experience with d-amps/clones say that the dumbleator definitely contributes to the 3D effect that the amps can have.
I know I want one for verb but getting the 3D thing I guess is a bonus too.I just don't know which way I want it though because having it built in will make things a breeze
when setting up,but thats the only thing though.

Well I don't know for sure but the amp is really going to be custom built just for my
playing style.Me and the builder have been going back and fourth dicusing sounds of what I like, and what I would like to hear in terms of the amp.
At first I was really after a certain clean tone (Steel String Singer and varients of it)
Then started to change my mind and wanted an amp that would have tons of clean headroom and that thick blooming OD. I decided on the Bluesmaster and ever since then he has took in all my R&D and started building on it (Like H.A.D does/did?).I will see if I can get some breakdown of what the amp has done to it after he nears completion.
304  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: OTS On Order on: December 11, 2009, 01:37:43 PM
I had to sell my main amp (Fuchs Train 45)  to get the Bluesmaster in the process. I
got my old Ev-12-L for $100 and my g-12-65 for $30 off craigslist.
I have been without a "real" amp for about a month. I got a loaner(an 80's boogie clone) for gigs/session work + I use this old 50's 10w tube amp for @ home playing and practice and I am going nuts without a amp that I can actually get my sound with.

I don't know what it is about that dumble but I love the look of it.

I finished my cab so I will post some pics when I wake up of what mine will look like.
Its going to be black tolex/tie dye grill gloth white trim(well I haven't ordered the piping"trim" yet) but I got red knobs for it and switch tips(like a real dumble)

Has anyone put a dumble-ator in their amp yet? I am getting a HRM Bluesmaster built
for me and I was considering it instead on a external unit. My tech/builder suggested it. What would be the benefits (If any)? My amp is going to have a twin power trany just incase I do decide to want a d-lator in there.

I'm Getting a 100w HRM Bluesmaster built for me right now by Jon Mernyk of Mill Creek Audio. I will post some Video's and clips as soon as I get it....Its supposed to be doneand delivered in a week and a half or so.  I am lookin for a dumbleator right now for it cause I am a verb addict. I already got an old Ev-12-L and a new celetion G-12-65 so I will be sure to demo both of them.  The amp won't be stock though its going to have quite a few mods done I believe. Either way this next week and a half is going to seem like forever till I get my amp. I have been waiting almost 3 months to get it!!!

308  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Dumblelator vs. Kleinulator on: November 30, 2009, 10:28:39 AM
Wow can you build me one?
309  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Dumblelator vs. Kleinulator on: November 30, 2009, 10:13:27 AM
The dumbleator sounds rounder but the I think the kleinulator is very transparent. are you going to post any with effect like verb verb or delay?

My Skyliner OTS HRM BM is being built for me....It will be done soon I can't wait!!!  Grin
I am gonna be looking for a klein ulater or a d-later soon. This definitely gave me an idea of what I will get.... I am a Verb addict so I NEED one.
