A Dumbleator kit would be a nice idea. There really isn't a whole lot of stuff inside of one, so it would make a nice DYI project.

I say bring it back! Hey, others are making nothing more than thinly disguised variations of the legendary ODS amp, I don't know why Nik is taking so much heat about his version. As long as no patents or trademarks are infringed upon, go for it!! Cool Cool Cool

FWIW, someone I know was on the recieving end of a Mr. "D"  hose job, as in paying for an ODS and never getting it. Been almost 20 years now, still no amp.
