Thanks!!

Yeah a mini stack it will be. They just look cooler!  Grin

I've been using alpha's for years in pedals, and I've never had a problem... except for the values not being exactly what they say they are, but I've used CTS that were off as well so...

I'll be building the cabinets myself as well, they'll be stained and not tolexed.

Thanks again!! I'll post the cabs as soon as I can get them done... which might not be for a little while.  Sad

Big hello to the forum first off.

Just finished this up last night, I ordered an unassembled board kit. Sounds fantastic through my stock valve junior cab. I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want to make it a mini 1x12 stack (like my valve junior) or make it a combo.

Pics:

This was my first ever amp build... I've only modded my valve junior before. I made some mistakes, the worst of which was using the 470ohm resistor (right of the filter caps) in the 47ohm's spot. The leads were too short to put it through the eyelets so i had to improvise.

The chassis was given to me by my stepfather. I was told it's very high quality aluminum, and I believe it cause it's very stiff/solid for aluminum.

I could of also made the wiring a little cleaner, especially the heater wires to the 12AX7's. I had no idea how hard it was to do the heaters for those tubes, but I found a pretty good instructional vid on youtube.

She's still very quiet considering the sloppy heater wires though, and this was a very fun experience for me, especially because she fired up on the first try with no problems whatsoever.  Chair Dance

Nik was super helpful and sent my package extremely fast. Thanks again Nik!!

Enjoy the pics!
