1  Website, Store / Suggestions / Re: Power Scaling on: November 07, 2012, 04:31:28 AM
Man this is an old thread! But I'm BORED so I hope no one jumps on me for posting, I don't really see that being a problem here though. Anyway, I BRIEFLY researched this "Kevin O'connor" thing and from what I read I was pretty unimpressed. I think I like the Variwatt from Skipz circuitz the best out of everything remotely in its price range. I haven't heard anything bad about it and its CHEAP. You just have to drill a hole or replace something. Maybe not good for vintage/super expensive gear but on a Ceriatone I don't see a problem/
2  Website, Store / Suggestions / Modified Bassman on: November 07, 2012, 04:19:40 AM
I said this in a different post but I think it would be cool to do a modified bassman similar to the chupa or yeti. People have been modding bassmans to have high gain channels for years. Maybe throw a couple of voicing switches on it and it could be everything the Supersonic should have been.
3  Website, Store / General / Any new high gain amps for 2013? on: November 05, 2012, 02:24:24 AM
As the title states I'm wondering if there are any new high gain heads/combos on the horizon? I remember hearing something about a mesa-ish amp on another forum although it could just be hearsay. The chupa's and yeti's are very cool, I'm just leary of el34's and wouldn't mind seeing something with 6l6 on the exact same platform.
