need some help with a ceriatone build in or around nyc. need someone with some time to work on a custom build. help!

i have a 1977 jmp marshall 2203 for sale that i need to put up to pay bills and pay for a ceriatone 2550.
the power has been routinely changed to a mercury magnetcis and caps to f&t. rocks harder now.
$1400.

here's how you get hot rod tones without some amp hacker turning the guts of your amp into conducive spaghetti.

boss sd-1: volume 2oclock, gain 10oclock and tone to taste in frnt of a 2204 or 2203.

lotsa bogner folks would dig a single ch amp that sounds like bogner 101b bllue channel.

good idea to have the options (some that are usually global to all 3 ch) like

excursion 3 way switch
boost/ gain structure
plexi mode
1/2 power switch
old/ new switch

of course a blue light!

no it's got mini toggles which i actually prefer!

i think anyone who wants to try to use the jube as a high gain amp to step toe to toe w/ something like a recto or slo is in for disappointment.

but if you think of it (or use it) as a goosed jcm 800, you'll be ok. that's how i use them and that's why i dig them.

fwiw i never use the clip function.

this will be the amp that finally brings me into ceriatone.

i've owned lotsa high end amps and plenty of nice old marshalls
several jmps and a jubilee, so- i'm really exited about this 2550.
