hi it's a non HRM OTS 50w, all standard apart from the valves ,i thought the ratio was like the gain and the level was the uh !level of the drive please give me more info guys ,does the ratio adjust between the od and clean ,,sorry if you all know this stuff but we all gotta learn ,and mine didnt have a manual with it.

hi guys ,i'm still learning a lot about these amps as this ots is my first ceriatone ,but whats the difference between a HRM and a OTS i hear about them both a lot but whats it all about?? ,ps has anyone tried 12at7's or 12au7's in v1 or v3 ,any position for that matter and will i blow up trying em out ,the ots manual say it should be ok ,any thoughts??

hi guys ,on my OTS there's a lot of volume difference between the OD channel and the clean channel ,even if the clean volume and the OD level are set the same ,and to balance them up the clean has to be on say 2 o'clock and 9 o'clock on the OD channel is this normal??? i know there will be some differance but the unity gap seems quite wide.

hi all ,i just picked up a carl martin octaswitch which has a buffer button on it ,if engaged will this apply the same ideas as a   c-lator ,in principal.or is it nothing of ther sort

,really good to hear all your choices , mine has tung sol 6L6 gc and a mixture of pre amp valves two have no markings at all and the last is a edicron ,what do you guys recon ? change em all ?,only just got the amp and it's my first ceriatone ,so i'll be asking lots of questions ,am willing to spend on decent valves ,just which ones? ,i like the tone smooth ,not too bright ,all ideas welcome..ps my tung sols arn't like normal size 6l6 [say jj's ] they seem to be bigger like big bottle kt66's if you get me,,says tung sol made in russia 07 07 ?? any good or shall i bin em.  pps has anyone tried a 12 AY7[lower gain] valve in v2 if so what was it like?..
