I probably will get shouted at for this  Tongue but I find I need to use some kinda of booster or tubescreamer pedal   Embarrassed to get a nice smooth OD sound with my strat  Undecided

It's a shame because my tubescreamer clone is very noisey....

I think my amp gets travel sickness, it seems to respond different at every gig I play!
2  Ceriatone / Overtone / Amp Tweaking Guide? on: May 02, 2011, 02:27:57 PM
Hi all, I have had my Bluesmaster 50w for 4 weeks now and its great!  Grin However, i wouldn't mind tweaking it to my own taste  Smiley

I would like to know how to tweak the values of the components on the Rock/Jazz switch and the tone stack, as I am not sure which parts i need to change to affect the tone in a certain way. Is there a layout somewhere with the components that can be changed and labelled with what increasing/decreasing the value of the component can do to the tone?

I have modified my Fender Blues Junior with the BillM mod parts before, and im confident with a soldering iron and know about the dangers of working on a tube amp  Smiley

Thanks!
Tom

Edit: I changed the title to a more suitable one
