ok. i still want to build an amp though.  maybe the 5e3 or the 18 watters? could the voltages still kill me? ive heard a lot of people start on those amps.

yes, i emailed him a while ago asking about that and he said he could do it.  i dont have any electronics training other than a highschool electronics course and wiring guitars.  im going to practice my soldering before i attempt anything to make sure i can do it.

did you even read what i wrote?  im not "building an amp,"  im wiring 2 transformers and a choke.  the rest of the amp would already be built.  and i know how to solder...

Hey, it's my first post here  Smiley

I have been thinking about getting the 2203 Package 1 w/assembly but I have never built an amp before so I'm not going to attempt to bite off more than I can chew.  It should not be too hard to mount and wire the transformers and choke should it? I do know how to solder.
