yes, that's what it came with originally (i ordered the amp prebuilt). i've gone back and forth a few times, but i think i prefer the 12AX7/ECC83. i currently have new production tung-sol 12AX7s for all the preamp tubes, and it's the best sound i've gotten from this amp so far. i should do a clip of that too.

here's a clip i recorded when i had just gotten my DR103: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/8/28/1389133/heywhat.mp3
tubes: all stock JJs except for the PI which is an old Valvo ECC83
speakers: 70s malmberg MDF 4x12 cab with celestion G12T-75s
guitar: fender jazzmaster
pedals: DIY modded tubescreamer, DIY fuzz, digitech digiverb
IIRC the amp had both volumes dimed (jumpered) and the master way down low, everything else more or less half way up.

and here's another clip i recorded to demo a pedal i built: http://offsetguitars.com/personal/jonas/radmofo.mp3
same tubes, speakers and guitar as the other clip, don't remember the exact amp settings, but it was squeaky clean.
