"Firstly I dont think thats the midboost. Rather the preamp boost (PAB) which bypasses the tone controls. Unless you got a custom switch with the actual mid boost (deep) on it.

Anyway make sure the switches on the back are in the correct position. IIRC some of them were wired backwards, more notably the earlier amps, wich may pertain to yours. Not a big deal the switches just work opposite as they are labeled. If thats not it, your problem points to something in the pedal not working."

@MAV oh yeah! And I realized that now.  This thing ROCKS!  The reason I say that is because i've never spent that much on an amp, let alone anything than my guitar.  I've put about 40 hours now for the burn in.. Going to spend more on it today

I'm not entirely sure but Nik said it's his "specs" to make the amp sound more on the JM= John Mayer side.  Which it DOES!

Wow! Sweet! Thanks rane. I just got mine.. Had some trouble starting it up (preamp tubes werent fully connected)  But now that its working, its awesome!

I'll give those tubes a shot. Tubes aren't priority right now because i really need reverb.  I'm contemplating on the C-lator and a Sole Mate (or other reverb) mix or just getting the FUCHS Verbrator?? IDK. Let me know what was wrong on ur C-lator so maybe if the same happens to me i'll know what to do!

I'm running through a 2x12 with G12-65's and they sound wonderful! Planning to grab a Celestion Gold to mix with the G12-65 and save the other 65 for a 1x12 cab if i'm playing somewhere small. 

Seriously though in the full power mode, even at low volumes, i achieve my tone that i need for the most part. This amp has heavy bottom end! Love it!

My future plans are to have all my "Drive, Boost, Tuner" needs at my feet via a Pedaltrain Mini/Nano.. and have reverb/delays and whatnot in the loop..

My question is: Is there any rack fx that has a footswitch and tap tempo? if there is, let me know!

OH I'm so glad they're not! Ok guys.. confession time.. Found out the problem was that I wasn't pushing in the preamp tubes in enough  Phew! What a relief that was!  WOW! This amp is friiigin awesome!!!

Can't wait to get reverb!!!

Wow.. I don't know what just happened.. I had a consistency of the popping noise... i kept swapping power tube in different places and what ended up happening was each tube started going redplate.. so I got bored and frustrated and switched out the 12ax7's and got the clean channel to work (crystal clear).. then the OD channel was dead.. swapped again and BAM! Both channels now work! I don't know what happened but i'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else???

Well shouldn't they already be biased by Nik? He already tried to help me out and he would have mentioned that.  I don't have any tools to do it.. unless you know of another way?? lol.
