The tone with that les paul is killer, and the junior is pretty great too. I just ordered a fifty watter from ceriatone yesterday and I CANT WAIT for it to arrive. I hope mine sounds as good man. kj

Dude you are gonna love it. Honestly my Ceriatone SLP is one of the best amps I've even used or owned.

I researched the variac thing and heard a lot of negative about it effecting the amp so I'm not sure.

What kind of tubes and speakers did you use here? Cheesy

This is just epic!!! Thanks man!!! Cheesy

Thanks man. We were using a Scumback 1969 with Scumback M75s and V30s. But after the video we fired up all the cabs and the amp really sounded great through my Orange straight with Scumback H75/V30 combo. The Scumback cab had a more traditional sound and the Orange had more crunch with a darker midrange and a real bark to it, both were great. My buddy came up last noght and played it with his Tele for about an hour and freaked, loved it. It was by far the best I ever heard him sound or play kind of Jeff Beck meets Joe Perry. The amp really brought out his playing, now he wants one.

Also the '74 was the guys that I bought the Ceria Tone from not mine but I have a '71 Super Tremolo and a '74 JMP that I can do clips against but they are hot rodded by Dave Friedman so they are kind of a different trip, heavier and way more saturated.

What got me on this quest is I've been playing Eddie's number one amp lately ('68 Plexi unmodded) and it's set up with a variac. Can I run a variac with this amp if I want for some things? Is it ok for the amp? Does it strain the amp?

Anyway, this amp is incredible and a real treat to have in the studio, I can't wait to star using it.

Honestly I never heard of this company till today, I went to a guys house to look at his 74 JMP, it wasn't working so he plugged in the Ceriatone and I was blown away at how great it sounded. I bought it on the spot and played it all day at the studio. What a perfect sounding amp. Just killer.

Ceriatone>Scumback 1969 straight cab>Les Paul Standard w/WCR Godwood= Shocked
