1  Muchless / DC 30 / Re: Will I need a C-lator/kleinulator for the effects loop? on: September 04, 2011, 03:05:42 PM
Alright! Thanks for the reply.

Would you redcommend the kleinulator och c-lator for the dc 30?
I love that the c-lator is in rack form, but which ones best for the tone?

I'm going to buy a TC G-Major for my metal rig, but want to use it with my DC30 too. How about the loop? Is a X-lator needed?

Sounds really sweet! Could you maybe record som stuff without the BT? Some warm, smooth jazzy chords and maybe some Jeff Buckley stuff?

Sounds like my Zendrive would love this amp... Wink

And by the way, what kind of combo chassis would do? Would any of these be fine? http://www.tube-town.net/ttstore/index.php/cat/c337_TTC-Combos.html

So how do you feel about your Prinzetones? I'm playing a Dizzy 30 now and love it but I miss the Fender cleans.

I would probably not build it myself, so what do you think Nik would say if I wanted him to make the master volume a post phase-inverter master volume and put Power Scaling in it?
6  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Bult-in Power scaling in an Overtone? on: May 04, 2010, 06:58:02 PM
Thanks! Smiley
7  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: What transformers for a HRM/Bluesmaster? on: May 04, 2010, 06:57:06 PM
Is that a Power Transformer?

Do they make the sound different? I mean, the one I linked to (that I was offered cheap) is made for Marshalls...
8  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Question from a Kitbuilder on: May 03, 2010, 10:50:38 PM
How did it go?
9  Ceriatone / Overtone / Bult-in Power scaling in an Overtone? on: May 03, 2010, 10:47:36 PM
Do you have any experiences on this? I like the idea of Power scaling, attenuators etc. Can't hurt to have the option of lower volume without giving the tubes a break.

What about built-in power scaling?

Anyone?

So is it Two-Rocks own speaker or is it a celestion? Is it like ToneQuest suggests, that the EV takes out the 12-65 in volume?
11  Ceriatone / Overtone / What transformers for a HRM/Bluesmaster? on: May 03, 2010, 10:41:41 PM
I've been offered an output transformer for my coming HRM-project (probably Bluesmaster) for a nice price. It's this one: http://www.tube-town.net/ttstore/product_info.php/info/p2204_Hammond-1750U-Marshall-Outputtransformer-JCM800-100-Watt.html

Totally unused. Is that a good choice? I'm a newbie.

Also, would someone please recommend a power transformer? I'm going for the 100 watt amp, FYI.

Thanks a bunch!  Smiley  Cheesy
12  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: HRM or Bluesmaster ??? Which and why ? on: May 03, 2010, 08:11:20 PM
How would you describe the differencies in the HRM and Bluesmasters OD? Does one have more gain, more sustain etc?
13  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: John Mayer Tone with OTS? on: May 03, 2010, 08:07:05 PM
I'm going for the Bluesmaster if it's the closest to John Mayers (clean) sound. I'll probably love the OD when it arrives, but at the moment I'm considering modding the OD channel to regular HRM.

Good point! Thanks, ToneQuest!

I'm getting the 100 watts Bluesmaster. What about a combination of the 12-65 and the EVM-12L? Would that be recommended? And are we talking about the classic or black label EV?
