I love this amp, but my wife and I are moving into an apartment and I won't ever get to use it. 

Built by Nik in April.  HeadCab by GabKits.  Winged C power tubes, NOS preamp tubes - Phillips, GE.  Footswitch included obviously.

I want to get $1250 for the head, and $200 for the C-Lator.  Both have barely been used, less 3-4 hours.

It is indeed an HRM, I just asked Nik to put a regular OTS faceplate on it because I preferred the way it looks.

   Just got notification from Nik that my OtS HRM and CLator are on the way. 

I have Nik's Biasing guide, but I have never biased an amp before in my life.  I'd like to try to do it myself, but if you guys don't think it's a good idea, I'll take it to a professional.

Couple of questions - where are the bias points for this amp?  The amp is obviously not in front of me yet, but I'd like to get an idea so I can know where to look.

Are there pots for each tube, or do I set one pot to 70? 

Any tips on biasing would be greatly appreciated.   

Congrats!  I'm in line too; I'm waiting on my OTS HRM and C-Lator/Smartulator.  This will be my first rack setup too with the C-lator. 

I'm fairly familiar with what these amps are meant to sound like - I have a Two Rock Opal that I love.  I have a Zendrive too, and it sounds great - but I agree its not as dynamic or bloomy as a real OD.  

Trying really isn't an option for me anyway; I live in a rural part of the country where good gear is extremely scarce.  I'm used to buyng before I get to play.  That's why I don't buy much gear - I want until I've asked a ton of questions from guys who own the stuff, browsed forums, listened to clips, watched YouTube, etc, etc.  I've been pretty successful doing it this way.

Like I said, I'm already bought every bit of the gear I listed in my other post, I'm just waiting on it all to come in.

Only the tubes are here now, but the cabinets should be here any day now, and I'm about a month out on my ODS and C-Lator I think.  Speaker, Lexicon, and Furman will be probably be in next week. 

I am super excited, as I'm totally ampless right now. 

I ordered a C-Lator to pair up with my HRM.  Should be about another 5-6 weeks. 

If by OT you mean Overtone, I have a regular 80's OTS being built my Nik right now.  If you mean transformer, whatever Nik is currently using in his builds. 

I'm a bit confused by your comment about smoothness - wouldn't a Dumble tone be considered smoother than Marshall?

Any ideas, or should I just move things around until I find something I like?  I've read here about putting a 12AY7 into V2 to lower the gain of the amp - but if you have to crank the OD trimmer, isn't that sort of the same thing as keeping the trimmer low with a 12AX7 in there?

I'm trying to get the perfect balance between clean and OD tones.  I know there will probably have to be a compromise somewhere, but we'll see.

Well, I'm in line.  Should be about two months before I get my OTS.  I ordered it without tubes, so I could take a look around here and get opinions on what works best in this amp. 

How much, and would you be willing to ship to the US?

Well that's no good for me then.  Nik is wiring my amp for me. 

I wish I could hear some clips of the OTS that were just on the clean side.  Both with a Strat and humbuckers.

I did check them out last night, your tones are just incredible.  Actually, your clips are what are pushing me towards the BM instead of the regular HRM.

I definitely want to be able to do the Larry Carlton tones, and even the Robben Ford tones if need be.  I just want Dumble OD!!

S the stock CeriaTone BM doesn't have this od channel configuration?  The more I learn, I feel like I want the clean sounds of the BM, but the whole goal is to get classic Dumble overdrive tones.
