Hello Nik,

I have been blown away from the very beginning at the quality and service that you provide to us. Please stay the course with what your doing and to hell with what the snake oil drinking tone snobs say. I work for a vintage music store and tell everyone one who cares about tone about your company. I have heard all the holy grail amps, and what you offer is right up there without having to spend a thousand dollars just to overhaul a vintage amp.

If I want to spend more to buy expensive trannies that is the extent of what I would do personally. I have blown people away with the stock amp kits you have sold me. I know what I'm getting when I buy from you and I cant wait to buy more.

Please keep doing what your doing.
2  Website, Store / Support / Neat wiring on: March 15, 2010, 02:59:42 AM
Anyone have any suggestions for getting the twisted wires to lay nice in a chassis?

For instance, I can get a nice twist on a pair of wires by putting one end in the vice and the other in the chuck of my screw gun, then letter' rip. But after that it is hard to get the wire tension out so they lye down nice. I have been using electrical tape so far.

Thanks for any advice.
3  British Style / 18 Watt / Re: Changes to 18w tmb layout on ceriatone website on: March 11, 2010, 04:58:16 AM
I just finished my Creme Brulee and the diodes were included in the kit. I ask Nik if I had to wire them. He said that it is especially important for the GZ34 rect.

So if you are running the 36 watt I would do it. Just pay attention and don't install them back wards like I did.

If anyone is still interested. Here is Richards Twin in action. I believe the High power one. Also check out the "Shine a light" blue ray DVD and you can see and here his set up well.

Two clips to see. Sounds guys setting up the gear.

I wonder what that speaker is in the back of his twin. You'll see what I mean:)

I think the Ethos Overdrive is the closest you're going to find to what you looking for. Read the specs. I have one and it is amazing, more than just an overdrive. Direct input, speaker simulation, two channel with a boost. Worth the wait.

Check it out if you haven't already!

6  British Style / 18 Watt / Half power switch for 18 watt. on: February 18, 2010, 05:13:02 AM
Is this simple to do? Like with the 36 watt. Or is the vvr option better?

Thank you all for any input.
7  Muchless / DC 30 / Creme Brulee no stand-by? on: February 07, 2010, 05:00:33 AM
Would some one be able to explain. I know some tube amps don't have them, but why the Brulee'?

This amp looks amazing and right up my alley. Can it really be considered the EF86 side of the Dizzy 30 with half to 1/4 the power?

Thank you all for any help.
