The truth is that not having a good sound for metal is not something that worries me too much. If I have it, better for me, but I prefer a good sound for rock music.

I will try as many speakers as I can in a shop

Thanks!

If it's any help, this two clips bymarinblues of the standard Overtone seem to have enough gain for what I want

If the Bluesmaster Overtone has the same amount of distortion as the standard one I will get it.

Hi people!

I'm thinking on buying a Bluesmaster kit but need a little help on deciding if this amp it's right for me.

I play mainly moder rock music and some metal too. Things like Muse, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Guns n' Roses, Metallica, Dream Theater, U2 and some Pink Floyd from time to time.
What I want is an amp with excellent chord definition (it seems to have it) but with enough gain and flexibility to play the music I like.

Is this one right for me? Or perhaps I should move to a marshall type of amp and lose the beautiful lead tones this amp seems to have?

I'd also like to leave the preamp as it is and change the power amp to a stereo one with stereo effects loop, but don't even know where to start to look for info.

Thanks a lot!
