I had Nik build mine. He installed effects loops for both channels and built in a c-lator. I just use the c-lator with the clean channel, as it allows a more volume and gain control for that channel, making it even more useful. I loved the sound so much of both channels it was months before I started experimenting with running any effects through those loops! Right now using an old Lexicon MPX 500 - 1 channel for clean and one for the dirty. Seems to work fine with some adjusting of output on the Lexicon. Another nice thing is the c-lator makes it easier to get the volume balance between the channels right.
It is a fantastic amp. I have played a few gigs with it, and also use it in a theatre production. I have yet to even try it out at full power! Of course it is even heavier with the c-lator built in. I've ordered a cabinet with wheels from road cases usa for lugging it around. A really great amp, beautifully built by Ceriatone!
