Hi, here are audio clips of my JTM45 with marstran OT PT and 20H choke in it.
recorder with studio projects T3 1" tube condensor, carderoid.
Speaker is a ampeg vintage, open back 12" (reverbrocket r12-r)
I used a super hard on as a buffer.
and 2 guitars, ibanez jet king, with Seymour duncan in the bridge, full open, humbucker.
and a Gibson LP bridge full open.
And with a koch loadbox, 2% output

I really like the sound between 2 and 4 on the master of the bright. very dynamic

I've had Email contact with Brain Wallace from marstran.
He answered my questions, and helped me out just fine.
I'm happy doing business with him. So  Cheesy

I ripped out the LED. And put in a 8V bulb.
Works!

Sound clips will be posted soon.

I replaced the input resistors (carbon=noise) with metal resistors, and shielded wire.

Hi
yesterday I finished building a JTM45.
I used marstran transformers and choke.
The chassis and board are from ceriatone.

The Led light kept me thinking... I finaly replaced it with a 8V bulb.
The chassis had all the right holes. PLus a lot extra that I didn't need Sad
But I guess you won't see it when its in the cab. Wink

Putting a 6V zener diode in parallel with the led light could be the solution

yes, I had the same probem on my plexi.  Nik sent me some replacements and I actually changed it out tonight.  the issue is that these indicators dont like and can't take a power surge.  Nik wrote that he is investigating another design that will not have this issue.

simple enough to change out, drain the filter caps first.

What did the replacements exist of? Another led or a bulb?

I'm still building the amp, What whould be the correct way to install the LED? In parralel with the heater (if that's true Sad no wonder it breaks ) Huh?
