I have a 2008 Overtone Special 50W head and a Kleinulator for sale. It has brand new Mesa/Boogie 6L6GC tubes and the J Zucker/Lerner mods installed by a prof tech. This unit was assembled by Nic.  Exc-Mint cond. ***SOLD*** for both shipped and paypalled! This is too much amp for me! Both in wattage and learning curve (there, I said it!).

7  Ceriatone / Overtone / Desperately need some OTS help! (settings) on: April 22, 2009, 01:32:48 PM
OK, so I got in over my head. I recently procured a used OTS and I am lost. My first amp was a Fender Champ followed by a Siegmund MS that I absolutely love. Both of these were for the most part "plug and play". Now comes the big jump to the OTS and way too many decisions. I should say this came with a Kleinulator also so that complicates things. I know tone is subjective, different strokes, etc.. But I need some suggestions for just getting started. Oh, and this has the Zucker/Lerner mods? If some experienced users could list some suggested settings for southern rock/blues tones I would greatly appreciate it. I know I should be able to come up with this myself and probably could if I spent enough time at it. The trouble is time is in short supply right now! Thanks for any help guys and sorry for the ramble.

Sorry if this is redundant or beginnerish, but please be careful poking around an amp that is powered up. Don't touch a THING!

Please don't let this post die, it was very interesting!

probably 8 ohm?

No, seriously - do a search at this forum or at ampgarage.com
Its one of the most discussed subjects.

It's probably been overdiscussed to put it mildly. That's why I just wanted to know if there was a standard issue that came w/ the Dumble. Lot's of spirited discussion on which is best for the OST but (as tone is relative) no hard answer.
12  Ceriatone / Overtone / Speaker in Dumble? on: April 07, 2009, 01:54:00 AM
Noob here, with a first post. What speaker(s) were used in the Dumble Overdrive Specials? The few pics I've seen seem to feature an Altec but I can't make out the model number.
