With all the issues down there, I was a little worried but the guy in CentroChitarre was really cool, so no worries.
 

Hmmmm,

non-HRM wants to sustain more, HRM is a little bit thicker, in the smoothness department, HRM is a little bit in front but non-HRM is right there as well.
I'm surprised how close they are sound wise.

OK I never played an HRM but I think I can say with confidence that HRM OD will definitely sound different compared to non-HRM.

I read somewhere that with non-HRM you can get that rich singing sustain more easily compared to HRM. HRM has less distortion and much more dependent on touch for overdrive tonality - something like that.
If I would have to describe them somehow, I would say Blues = non-HRM and Rock/Fusion = HRM.
Overall... both are fine amps, just need to find which one is more your thing.

As far as I can see clean ch is very much the same. OD CH sounds smother and thicker on the HRM to me.

 

Shit, this HRM sounds so fat, it almost makes a strat sing like a LP.
 

Man those two amps together look so cool. You are one lucky man. 

Marin one request...you don't have to do it right away

If you could record both amps, same guitar, same speaker, similar voicing/gain in one clip. Something like A/B thing. This would really give us a fair chance to see the difference between non HRM and HRM.

...and of course, we want a full blown review.
