I took my amp to a tech today and we started it up. We found only one mistake... a little solder leaked into the V1 pin... it took 5min to solve that problem. Overall I was surprised how quite was the amp. It seems it's worth-while to be careful and neat with wiring. The sound was just like it should be... big and dangerous!!
...and man, I'm really sorry. I didn't wanted to put in the spotlight like that... but I just couldn't stand all that OTS bashing. I'm quite new to thegearpage forum... by now, I know bashing Ceriatone is like folklore over there.
...and besides after your clip OTS bashing stopped.
Hmm Very interesting.... Kein-ulator without any FX connected. What do yo think it adds to the sound ? John
To me, the tone is even smother with the Klein in the loop. It has this way of rounding top end in a very pleasant way. So, even more of that famous D tone.
I had a look at your Alesis thread as well. Now I understand what was your issue with this. Good for you and thanks for sharing.
Just for the record... I use my Klein even if I have no effect in loop (which is almost all the time). Just can't survive without it, even if it's bulky.
Here is little Fuchs and Overtone clip ... (just checking that my OTS mods are not going wrong direction ) First (00:00 - 01:13) it's Fuchs and then Overtone
Hi Sami,
I hope you're not angry at me, I posted this clip on the GearPage. There is a huge fight going over there, "OTS vs world" (not only Fuchs) and of course no proof was presented.
BTW From what I heard, I think you need to start moding Fuchs.
