Fellow Aussie here.
I'm just about to place my order on a 50w BM. Agreed, I don't think Nik sleeps at all! Super responsive and patient he is!
Another Aussie here, i've got a HRM BM 50w with C-lator and its the best amp ive owned, better than the MkIV boogie ive got! Enjoy my friend!

Like Homesick, I was thinking the same thing. If you just got this amp a week ago then you don't have a clue what this amp is about yet. I sat with it for a month on the bench tweaking at the internal trimmers. And then after that I took it out of the head and adjusted based on the break-in. But from the beginning and all along I new I had a special amp. Getting the most out of it makes it not a "plug & play" type of thing. And also, the C-lator does add quite a bit of more sonic possibilities. It's been about 9 months since I built it and somedays I still think it's breaking in yet. Very likely changes in the tubes life. Which brings up another aspect. I have never had an amp that can react so differently based on the tubes in it. So if you haven't experimented with tubes yet, that's another aspect. I wouldn't do any of this until you get it broken in for a month or so. I will say that if I would have owned an amp like this twenty years ago, I wouldn't have had a clue what to do with it. I just had not advanced enough in terms of my ear, playing and what I wanted out of my equipment to get what it was all about. What he said +1000,000

Hey Nik, let me say I love my HRM OTS!! Thankyou! Now a question, I have been queried on the quality of the transformers you use as opposed to say a Fuchs or Bludotone? I am not a tech head and do not know what to tell the nay sayers. What would you say?

Ceriatone / Overtone / A question about presence.

Guys, just wondering about how much impact the presence pot has over your amps? In my HRM bluesmaster it has very little effect. Is that cause, being on the master volume, if played at low levels it doesnt have much effect on overall sound?

Ceriatone / Overtone / How much tone am I losing?
|

Hey guys, I am running an OTS HRM without a fx loop buffer ie C Lator etc. Ive got pedal fx in the front and an Earthquaker reverb pedal in the loop.
How much is tone being effected by this setup?
Should I get a C-lator or Fuchs plush Verbrator?
cheers

Now that i have lived with this amp a bit and gigged it................. I am still in awe of the responsiveness and tone esp in a live setting. Im now thinkin of getting another, maybe an OTS or an Fm. Just for some thing else.
Thoughts appreciated.
