Would it be possible? how bout the super bass running kt88's? would need to run at least 200 watts to keep up with the band.

So my band complains about how loud it is......i told em to deal with it hahaha.
The interesting part is i never got complaints with my orange ad 140 which is supposedly rated at 120-140 watts. I know that 100 watts isnt louder its just perceived headroom, but the jtm 50 has such a full bodied sound. I used to play a 50 watt jcm 800 and it always sounded so thin and weak in comparison to my superlead 100. cheers  nik

just finished a jtm50 with mm trannies....AMAZING!!!!! i recommend you find the jtm 45 instructions pdf on metro amps forum. helped me out bigtime!!!

but external bias mod....how do i do it?

Okay so I ordered a series of mods on my kit but I cant seem to find any articles on how to actually accomplish them haha.

I need help with installing the external bias mod and i am planning an internal channel jump with a mini toggle to disconnect it. I also am planning a toggle to disconnect my ppi volume mod.
also are there any better directions online for putting the kit together? I am currently using the pdf from metro but it applies to the jtm45.

p.s. I am waiting ofr my trannies, can i start on the kit and just install them when they get here?
 

Just ordered my JTM 50
I am gettin ready to order my mm trannies and I am thinkin of opting for one of their axiom sets that will allow me to run 6550's or kt88's. I had a superlead with 6550's and i loved it.

I also am in a twist about whether to get the 45 vs the 50. Is the 45 only 45 watts? I play indie rock in the vein of at the drive in and head automatica, so having just a good overdrive isnt going to cut it. I  use alot of delay and need alot of definition for hammer on/pull of type lines. I play a fender jazzmaster and  a custom First Act Delia.
any recomendations?
