Well done. It does feel good doesn't it, all your own work (well a little bit of Niks!).
Im thinking ahead now as I'd sort of flagged one of these for the next but one build (DC-30 next), but could you do me a favour an measure the chassis. I'll be making a combo for something else in a few months time and it makes sense to get the wood cut for the Expression at the same time.
TIA

Thanks for that. Would need a new head shell. DC-30 it is then (then an Expression, then maybe a 36 watt after that!! now where does the SE OTS fit into that list I wonder )

It seems the TC Nova Delay is best setup for inclusion in the FX loop. See John Edmonds thread on his set up and I guess this is down to the ability to calibrate the input signal level. My G# won't work without a *ator of some sort, there is too much loss of volume. I know this is the very cheapest of the TC products but being rack mount they must have known it would go in a loop and not all guitar amp loops are valve powered, though I guess they think along the lines that most major makes like Fender etc don't include passive loops.
The G System is a complex beast so i'd investigate whether it has some sort of input calibration method since it is able to take input levels as high as 18dBu which is even higher than the Nova. Putting it (or some of its effects) in the loop, in a live situation though is going to require two longish cables which will inevitably lead to losses.

A couple of wires to solder to the power supply board but I'm just waiting on the diode and resistor from Nik. I could have got the diode from RS but minimum order was 100, plus its in their extended range so attracts a £10 order surcharge! So I'll wait.
Also decided to add another LED socket rather than use the two colour LED. Left one indicates FX loop is ON, right one indicates Bypass engaged. Both on indicates bypass is selected on the rear switch whilst footswitch is plugged in ie ERROR.
I do hope this damn thing works.........!!!

Completed all the wiring I can today. Signal cables were a bit fiddly since I needed to ensure grounding of all the shielding without creating any loops.
Signal cable runs are longer than in the small box format as supplied by Nik, but this will be more than compensated for by the much shorter cables to the other rack unit.

Can either of you guys tell me the size of the chassis please?
I was about to pull the trigger on a DC-30 but maybe the 36watt is a little more felxible? The Dc-30 was intended to go in my spare OTS shell as they are about the same size

Used a THD with my OTS. It helps but you don't lose a lot of volume before you lose a lot of tone. Provided you connect a speaker and use the correct impedance settings, no you wont hurt your amp.
I'm going to have London Power Powerscaling installed on my next build (a DC-30). I think that will provide better control of volume with less loss of tone.

Those that know might chip in here !!!!
Somehow the circuitry is generating 20+ volts from a 9v supply so I guess that chip might have something to do with that.

I didn't find that the Jack Zucker mods made much of a difference to my OD tone. The way Pickmaster arranged the v2 cap changes with a dpdt on-on-on switch to vary the values across v2b certainly allowed me to a/b the change and in the end I went for the biggest cap values. A lot better now. Have a look in this thread. http://ceriatoneforum.com/index.php?topic=740.0

10ohm resistor.
My 9v supply is rated 500mW which I would hope will be sufficient. All the filtering is part of the Klein kit though somehow voltages higher than 9v are being generated. My electronics knowledge is insufficient to understand how!
