I have two 1x12" cabs, one loaded with G12-65 and one with Gold. The combination of both sounds fantastic but Gold tends to overpower the G12-65. But if I disconnect G12-65 cab something is missing, so it just has to be there.
Celestion Gold is an amazing speaker, expensive as hell but worth the extra cash.
 

Man this is tough one to call... but I think I would go for Orange drops

...but would be happy with the Cornell or Xicon too

If your OTS sounds to mellow with the Klein in the loop try increasing master volume cap. Do you even use one?

If you don't have any cap in there try 33p.
If you already have one than go up to 47p.

Although execution is outstanding I agree with hywelg... to me this style was always more about skill demonstartion than music it self.
"Shreding" is more like a sport discipline than a music.

Measure the voltages just to make sure everything is fine under the hood.
If you send some signal into your RETURN input... any sound from your power amp?
