Pickmaster, did you try a G12 Century together with a G12-65?
Would be interested if that is a good match.

Mcinku, I just realized that our amps look quite similar  Grin
48  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Indicator light blown? on: February 23, 2011, 11:49:57 PM
I had the same problem. Just open the amp, get the broken bulb out of there, take it to any shop who sells electronic parts (they should have those kinds of bulbs, theyre pretty standard) and solder the new one to the spot where the old one was Smiley

(Note: I have nearly no idea of electronics, amps, etc., but it worked for me this way  Grin )

Sry for the bonamassa mistake Smiley But I'm sure he uses the Van Weeldens here in Europe Smiley

I don't know which amp would be best, cause I just know the OTS S&M so far...

But one thing i want to add: Joe Bonamassa doesn't use Two Rocks at all. He uses mainly Van Weelden Twinklelands combined with a Marshall Silver Jubilee for his lead tone.
51  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Overtone Soundclips on: January 28, 2011, 03:19:51 PM
Just recorded myself noodling over a BB King backing track.
Playing is a little sloppy with mistakes here and there, sorry for that Smiley

Gear used: Stratocaster directly into OTS S&M. Nothing in the loop. Reverb is a Lexicon LXP-1 which was used after the recording.

Feedback appreciated Wink

52  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: LXP-1: D'lator needed? on: January 19, 2011, 04:50:57 PM
actually i was never looking for that Robben Ford tone  Grin
I'm looking for a really open and clear sound.
(I'm playing mostly blues in the style of SRV, JM Trio, etc.)

Maybe it'd be better if you know my setup:

Strat/ES-335 -> modded Crybaby -> Baja tech Das Fuzz -> Barber LTD -> Ollmann Tube Blaster (german boutique tube booster) -> Amp Input(OTS S&M) -> LXP-1 Stereo outputs to a) -> OTS return (Speaker: G12-65 heritage)
                         b) -> an old Echolette Leslie (it's pretty bright)
53  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: LXP-1: D'lator needed? on: January 18, 2011, 10:44:41 PM
i just watched the demo marin made about the c-lator. i have to say i liked the sound without the c-lator better. Brighter and more bite. Was like a blanket before the speaker with the c-lator. Is this what it does to the sound or is it just a preferred setting of marin?
54  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: LXP-1: D'lator needed? on: January 18, 2011, 05:40:42 PM
What is the cheapest way for a D'lator? (I live in Germany)
The Klein? Or is the C-lator a lot better?
55  Ceriatone / Overtone / LXP-1: D'lator needed? on: January 17, 2011, 11:10:56 PM
I'm about to buy a lexicon lxp-1.
Has someone experience with that unit in D-style amps?
Since it has in- and output controls i guess a D'lator is not necessarily needed? Can you confirm that?

Thanks in advance!  Smiley
56  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Customized OTS 50W (Bluesmaster Clean) First impression on: December 29, 2010, 02:46:34 PM
Sounds more than great Smiley Congrats.

What guitar did you use in that clip?
57  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: C-Lator vs Klein vs Lehle Prallel L vs Amp Mod on: June 11, 2010, 02:09:48 PM
You can use the Lehle Parallel L and M for unbuffered loops to buffer them. Lehle described it in a German forum. The question was the same.
58  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: OVERTONE HRM LO INPUT 2 AMPS on: May 03, 2010, 11:56:13 PM
could you tell me how that works? sounds really nice. I'm looking for the cheapest solution to run 2 amps at once, maybe this could be it.
My amps are a 50W OTS S&M and a Fender Twin SF 135W

Will this work like this?:

Guitar in FET (OTS)
chord from NOR to HI (Twin)

or do I have to use the Lo inputs?
59  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: German users/Mods on: August 10, 2009, 08:11:38 PM
I'm from Germany but unfortunately i can't do any mods. But if you live in the west of germany you could ask someone from the netherlands.

I will soon let my OTS mod by an amptech i know, who has owned two dumble overdrive specials back in the 80's.
