Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: different size cabinets with overtone?

Best thing to do is just try it out for yourself. If you can get to a shop with a selection of cabs perhaps take the head with you and try some out.
Open back 2 x 12" seems to be the most popular combination with a head, however there are a lot of combos out there with just the one 12" speaker.
Good luck,
Cat

Yeah look tasty. I'm waiting for my Overtone, should arrive in 1 or 2 weeks (maybe one weeks more as nik says (delayed ) I hope 50W will be enought for me (blues/rock/pop band with bass, drums, organ an a singer). Don't think you'll have any problems there, they have plenty of headroom I reckon. Cat

Ceriatone / Overtone / Head Cabinet Owners...
|
on: May 28, 2008, 09:58:33 AM

Ive got one coming in the mail, but I want to build a speaker cabinet to go with it in the mean time.
Would one of the head cabinet owners mind measuring it up and posting the measurements here? Even just the width (across the front) will do, so I can build my speaker cab to suit.
Thanks guys,
Cat

I have noticed the volume boost when flicking to the deep switch. Mine is stock (old stock) with no mods. With the master above about 4 though the amp is bloody loud.

Ceriatone / Overtone / I need a companion....for my Celestion
|
on: May 26, 2008, 12:23:19 PM

Hey guys,
I'm going to build a vertical 2 x 12" cab to go with my OTS with a Celestion G12-65 15ohm speaker in it. I need to find a companion speaker for it.
The Celestion has really nice lows and strong mids but the highs are a little too rolled off. I'm hoping to find a speaker that will compliment the Celestion and provide the high frequency "sparkle" that the G12-65 lacks.
Any suggestions you could provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys,
Cat
