how would you go about getting a tone close to Stevie Ray Vaughn's? I have a Mexican strat with Texas Specials. Doesn't get anywhere near SRV's sound though.
Guitar is Mirage with two singles and a bridge humbucker(custom job) straight to the OTS with Digitech RP200 in the loop. 1x12 cab with Celestion Century. that's all. Really simple and enjoyable setup.

Hi Pickmaster Have you tried the Jensen Neo 100 and compared it to the Tornado. I have the Jensen Neo 100 and also an Eminence Neo speaker, both sound similar although the Jensen may sound a little darker. Im still making up my mind which one to use.

No, I have not. Never tried eminence neos either, but compared Tornado and Celestion Century and Tornado was more bassy and little bit darker. I’m still in love with my 2x12 with Centuries in it but thinking to replace one with the Tornado.
