A guy with a nickname like that deserves an extra charge.

Hey Chris

well I'm used to my PODXT setup it's very very versitile in that respect.

Good tip Didn't know Philip Sayce yet> Nice sound too.

Hey
why not use a podxt. It has all those sounds ;-). I know... I own serveral. LOL I gues in here that's blasphemy hehe. Luckily Scott Lerner had used one as well so I'm in good company. If you listen to so,me of the stuff marin put on YouTube you'll find sounds fairly close to that sound.

I must say I found ChrisL's answer a bit worrying. I am used to switching from a clean sound to an overdrive sound. The thought that the single tone stack is to limited for that, bothers me alot. I have ordered a Wampler Ecstacy to go with the new amp. I'll keep you posted.
It's (almost?) my turn to get my OTS so....

I had a problem like that. I had the impression it was my guitar. I replaced the mini switches. That didn't do it. Turned out it was a bad battery (i use EMG's)

HeyJack
I didn't realize you're Pat Martino and Robben Ford in one body.  Grin

Great!

Would you plz take the trouble to explain the difference?
369  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Challenge to owners on: June 13, 2008, 09:54:21 PM
I guess you understand I'm quite happy at the moment. My amp will be shipped around now and we're winning ;-)

You're welcome.
Hopefully the inventor himself will answer some questions
371  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: A very BASIC effects loop/Kleinulator related question on: June 13, 2008, 02:02:28 PM
You'd expect that to be handled by the return volume. :-)
372  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: A very BASIC effects loop/Kleinulator related question on: June 13, 2008, 07:05:25 AM
Hi
I'm in the same boat as you. I have ordered the Kleinulator as well. Hooking up is simple I giess. You just connect the amp send to the input of the Kleinulator and the amps return to the output.
amp send----> Kleinulator input
Kleinulator output-------> amp return
Then you hook up your effects to the send and return of the kleinulator.
Keinulator send-----> input effect
Output effect------>Kleinulator return
I guess you want to make sure the reverb is after the delay.

My questions

Some tips about the level settings would be appreciated. What is the  "Recovery"?
What would be a good strategy to set the levels?

Plus why would you need a bright switch? You want the tone to be unaffected as much as possible right?

LOL

so how did you like the soccer Marin?

I have bought a cab online with this company (in Europe) http://www.tube-town.net/ttstore/
Very friendly and good service. The cab looks pretty good. It is light and it was fairly cheap. I even got a huge discount on the speakers.
My cab has 2 x G12-65 heritage speakers. It is a closed back cab but you can take out a part of the back panel.
Best of both worlds. No idea what it sounds like cause I haven't got my map yet  Chair Dance
