my sister in law put some grill cloth on my head cab. It looks like this now:

I was planning to take the front plate out and cover that with the grill cloth.
Not sure if it will fit so maybe I need to sand some wood of.

haven't been brave enough to take the amp apart. Probably will do that tomorrow

I love that type of cab and the white knobs are cool as well.

I have decided to put the same grill cloth as my cab on the amp.

Mixed emotions actually.
I don't like the extra cables and extra deviece aspect. The extra 3 level pots make it harder to get a good setting.

I do like the fact that the sound is "sweeter" and less punchy.

Not sure of I could get the same results by tweaking the EQ and maybe the OD trimmer.

I had the impression Jack uses the OTS for most of his demos. Not sure though.

I did the A/B test with and without the Kleinulator. First I took alle the effects out of the loop.

The sound without the Kleinulator is more open and brighter. It also has more of a punch. when you hit a string it's more " in your face" 
With the Kleinulator the sound is somewhat jazzier, darker and a less percussive.
it's sweeter, dare I say a bit compressed?
Personally I'm not into that punchy sound. (It reminds of harsh Fender twins)


Without the Kleinulator the G-Sharp (reverb/delay/chrous) seems to work less pronounced. Effects sound a bit better with the Kleinulator.

Just my quick impressions. Please add more reactions on this.

I have done a quick A/B yesterday. The sound with the Kleinulator is fatter IMHO, but that could also be a  level thing. If you boost the signal a bit you'll get a bigger tone. I'll do some more testing tonight.
