I was really surprised how good Klein actually sounds compared to tube counterpart. IMO it's wrong to expect a huge difference between both devices...
The difference is there but not a big one.... IMHO Klein is still a worthy device.

I have to say I agree with some of your statements... Niks site really needs a pro touch. In other words, a complete redesign if you ask me. Amps like that definitely deserve something better. ... but in Niks defence. Ceriatone is really just a few guys and their focus is amps, thanks god . Most of the amps are clones of the amps,... which are around for a long long time. Do you really need another description how 5E3 sounds like... or JCM800... or... I also think that if only Nik would have some more time, his input here would be more than welcome. ...and don't worrie about your amp, I'm sure it will show up.

These are not mine suggestions, these are coming from the guy who knows a lot more about these amps than me...
anyway... 1. Go back to the 1uF bypass cap on V1b. 2. Increase the value of the slope resistor. Try 56k but you may need to go as high as 100k to hit your sweet spot. 3. Change the treble pot to 250KB. (250KA sounds too dark to me.) 4. Last resort, change the bass pot from 500KA to 250KA. (Shouldn't be necessary after the above changes, but can help things along.
Obviously with all that you will stray away from standard Bluesmaster values but it's your amp, so why not. BTW what kind of speakers are you using. I prefer Alnico Gold over G12-65.

really? i thought the only difference between the HRM and the Bluesmaster was the clean channel, and then the OD would follow in its tonal mastery because its technically not a seperate channel?
Let see... Bluesmaster have different plate and cathode resistors, no snubbers on the V2, slightly different HRM tonestack, different bright cap on OD level,...due to different dropping string plate voltage is different as well.... well almost everything is different- except layout is more or less the same

Different plate resistor values, different dropping string as well - that's why different voltages. BM amp has also different tonestak and PI section as well,... obviously all that equals to different sounding amp

For me it's skyline type tonestack sounds awesome for clean... that's OTS and OTS HRM. but just for the record, if you like Fender clean, Bluesmaster is closer. BM type amp has scooped mids, more like Fender does. Skyline tonestak sounds bigger to me... especially with SC guitars.

You mean mine statement or the one from ODME? If it's mine,... obviously BM HRM plate voltages are different compared to OTS or OTS HRM.

You are talking about standard OTS and not Bluesmaster HRM amp, right? Be careful what you write... we don't want people modifying Bluesmaster amps based on the statement above.

As far as I know this digital effect devices operate best if they are set at unity gain. The way I do it, I set my input knob (on the effect device -Lexicon) at noon... then set my Drive knob (D-lator input), in a way that I don't clip the AD converters. My Lexicon has limiter circuit built in so that helps as well. With the rest two knobs (D-lator) I control the volume of the amp.... and output on the Lexicon is used to set up the effect level. My setup includes Suhr Minimix which transforms signal path into parallel mode.... this makes things a little different compared to standard serial configuration.

hi all
i find that the problem came from the relay i am trying to play without the relay until i recieve a new one do you know how to do that i am only using the OD channel
regards
You need to rewire the relay in order to play without one... I don't thik that's worth it. Better to wait until you get a new one.
