Mirc,
Cool! Great man!
Hey Davor,
Why dont we do this: For the ease for users to hear the clips, lets have a section where you can't post. Instead, it's just a bunch of soundclip files.
This way, the actual files are easier to find.
Users can still post the clips on the forum, like Mirc did, of course.
But if we decide to use it, we can put it up on this special section.
I am not with lots of resources (why website is always slow to update). This way, the process is easier.
What do you think man?
Thanks!
Nik

Hello all,
Great!
I mainly use my 2x12 cab that has vintage 30 and G12H in it.
Indeed, do try em all out. Eminence seems to be putting a lot of options onto the table, and so has other companies like weber, and such.
Which is great!
Or if your place has lots of junk, the old hi fi speakers can be surprising finds as well (if they work). Alas, these go for so much money on ebay these days so they might be scarce now.
Thanks!
Nik

Community / Chit Chat / Re: What kind of Music do you listen ?

Nutcracker suite, Swan Lake, Cats soundtrack, and River Dance. My 5 year old is doing ballet so every time I turn the stereo on....I have no say.......no sympathy from my wife either.
Aside from that,,,whatever my mood suites. Jazz is pretty much the only form of music I can't tolerate for more than a song or two. It's like perpetual foreplay.....
Does that mean chicks dig jazz? Oh wait..you said perpetual..sorry..

Congrats on the new forum! Great idea! If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to ask, Nik.
Hey man! Welcome! And thanks! Hope we all can chill here, plot our way to richness, babes, and the likes. Oh sure, definitely we can talk about amps here. No flame! While I populate this board for more info, files, and such. Then, we can really launch it, inviting more people. Thanks! Nik

Hello, Thanks for the interest. Well, we dont charge much to complete it. For wooden cabs, yes the link should help. At least it sits with the rest of the furniture well, and the wife wont notice a new amp so much. Thanks! Nik

Hey all!
Cool! Happy to see many of you here.
As for the JTM45, indeed the distortion isnt plexi and with the wrong cab, could be flabby (hence mod the preamp cathode cap to 1uf or sumthin).
I do love the clean tones though, that the KT66 has.
It scares me to death how much GECs cost, but I think the Shuguangs are swell.
Havent tried KT77s, though.
I guess, with solid state recto and KT77, that'd be plexi already, with some changes on the board.
Thanks!
Nik

Hi,
Cool. Hopefully it will fit.
As for the JTM50, this is not a really well known amp.
Often time, they're confused as JTM45 (thanks to the JTM block logo on the front).
Or people call it, JTM45, but with EL34 tubes. Thats been my exp. here.
I would be very interested if Roe and archtop can post clips, and comment on the sounds.
Thanks!
Nik
