Hi,

If you receive the Customs Duty Invoice from DHL please take note of the tariff code.

We had experiences with customers (mainly in USA) that are being charged for Tariff Code: 9202.90.4000 : String Musical Instruments (eg guitar, harps, violin etc)    instead of  Tariff Code: 8518.90.000: Parts/Kits Of Guitar Amplifier.

We have sort this out with DHL and they will make the adjustment accordingly. If you are one of those or if you have paid pls email me the following:

1) copy of the invoice duty
2) DHL  tracking #

I'll help you sort this out. If you had paid, no worries, we will get DHL to refund.

  We have implemented important changes to the Lightning amp that we feel will significantly raise the quality of tone of the amp.

  Basically, these changes include:
 
  a) Elimination of 1 22uf 450V filter cap and decoupling resistor to the screens of EL84s.
 
  b) Change of resistor from 22K to 4.7K as filter decoupling to cathode follower V2 stage
 
  c) Addition of a cap to the master volume pot
 
  The tone change is significant enough to warrant this call for you to also mod the amp, for much better tone.
 
  We at Ceriatone feel that there's always improvements that can be made, and will update clients with the information when these improvements are found and finalized.
 
  We thank you for your continuous support, and hope you will find more enjoyment with the amp after this modification.
