That being said; I would never been in the dumble thing if Nik didn't offer those kits.
Other competitors were just too expensive.

200W  Shocked Shocked

A guy needs a special permission for an amp like that.

Once I stood in front of the Robben Ford amp in a concert he had here and it was painful... I think that his tone is engraved in my brain forever.
... an amp like that (200W), would kill me for sure.

On the Mega PAB, what's the resulting effect of those two resistor settings?
Anyone know what the stock value might be there?

It's right there on the layout... the stock value is 68K and mega PAB is 22M obviously.

Bigger the PAB resistor is, more boost you get.

Do not worry about the heaters... I've seen a lot of big $$$$ 2Rock amps wired with heaters against the chassis.
...and 2Rock is "the" amp to have for D style amp... at least what some people say. Just look at John Mayer...  Grin

Bottom line.... if it sounds good, it sounds good.

157  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Bluesmaster settings - keep the Bass control dialed in low on: December 24, 2010, 09:42:15 AM
Yes, BM is a bass heavy amp and I also like to keep the bass pot very low... although I like to set my mid pot at around 5. I like a bit more body in my tone with my tele.
What I also notice is that when the amp gets played at band volumes the bass gets tighter... but when played at room volumes, the bass is just to strong.

It looks very wreck-ish

I like it

I have P10Q in my Champ and I think it's a better speaker compared to P10R... at least to my ears.
It's somehow warmer, more balanced sounding... I quite like it.

Telecaster, Dumble and skilful hands, what can be better.

Well I can think of one thing... it's me playing like that.... at least close to that

Well I can say one thing... IMO Bluesmaster works better with alnico speakers... I use Celestion Gold and it sounds better than G1265 which I also have.... Bluesmaster has this Fender voice and Fenders work much better with alnicos... well if you ask me that is.
Can't tell you much about weber speakers...most of the speakers I tried are Celestion and some Jensens and Eminence.
Never tried any Webers.... hard to come by here in EU.

Don't forget, your amp won't sound as good as it could before a good burn in is done.... so play it as much as you can.
