My son Stephen and I picked up his DC30 today from Rick Potter, a local amp and cabinet builder.
All we can say is AMAZING!! This amp sounds so rich and full and, at the same time, has a great clean sound.
We loaded the speaker cabinet with the following: Celestion Vintage 30 8 ohm and
G12H30 8 ohm
If anyone wants to see pics we can post a few.

Thanks for the info! I'm certain he'll love it - he's a very appreciative 13-year-old who takes great care of everything he has so I figured I'd get him the good stuff and he'd have it for life!
We're really looking forward to having that amp in the house...LOL.

thanks for the info about the A/B....
Stephen plays Foo Fighters, Zeppelin, U2, Nirvana, Stones and the like...he currently has a Fender Twin Reverb too that's a bit too clean for his liking...
he's really, really looking forward to getting the DC30...it's in the hands of a custom cabinet maker in town as we speak!

What type (brand) of A/B pedal are you using?
My son is playing an Exporer, Goldtop and a Stratocaster - do you think your suggested settings will work well with any of these?
Thanks so much! I'm the guitar and amp novice but want him to get the most out of what he's playing.

Hey all!
I was wondering if you can help me...just bought this amp for my son and I was wondering what suggestions you have for playing it? I know this sounds like a rudimentary question but I don't know much about any of this stuff and I want my son to really get the full potential out of this amp. Any knob suggestions? Any footswitch or pedal options you suggest?
I'd appreciate any advice you can offer! I really, really appreciate your feedback!

Hello!
I just purchased this DC30 for my 13 year old son - he enjoys playing Nirvana, U2, Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, etc...
I was wondering what pedals and/or pedal manufacturers you suggest?
He has a Goldtop, a strat and an explorer so I want him to be able to take full advantage of the versatility of this amp and his guitars while capturing the sounds of some of his favorites.

Hey all! I recently purchased a Ceriatone DC30 for my son and it arrived Tuesday. Took it to my local cabinet builder and amp repair man (he's been in the business for over 30 years) and he stood there in awe at the workmanship of the amp's wiring - he said he's been building and working on amps for years and Ceriatone's are one of the best he's ever seen!
