Well, I'm a member over there - does that count? I go by Hiwattage over there, but I'm Weathered here, on HC, and on TGP.

This is a very cool forum. I'll try and help when I can (I'm finishing build #3, and have modded 3-4 amps, and completely gutted and redid my 18W TMB). I'm always learning, but if I can be of any help to a rookie, I'll do what I can.

Everyone who is really interested in the 18 watt should also think about registering and posting on 18watt.com - there are a lot of really smart builders there, and while this forum is getting its feet under it, there will be a lot of technical resources over there, including layouts and schematics for a lot of 18 watt variants.

I'm toying with the idea of ordering a Ceria chassis and trannies to do a JTM45 build, as I already have a red swirl board waiting at home. Can I come play, too?

Trainwreck stuff tends to run right on the edge of where it can, so if you're not familiar with troubleshooting amps (oscillation, weird noises), it can be a bear to get it working right. The value is there to have it built, but part of the reason I build amps is the actual build process, personally.
