Anybody have chassis dimensions?  I need to start on my head cab--it's the only way I will survive the wait!

aren't they listed on the ceriatone website?

Have you not heard the track that goes with that backing track, Matt's solo? Not sure if I can attach it here?

I've never heard of any Matt Scofield stuff. The backing is pretty much a straight blues. It could belong to anyone.

Sorry, I am not very familiar with (Matt) Schofields work. I listen to a lot of the "other" Scofield (John).

Thanks Mitch.

If you are in a position to post some clips, that would be cool.

cheers.

What were your amp settings for that tone? Very nice!

I don't remember the exact settings, but I believe that it was something around this:

vol: 5
rock engaged
treble 2
mid 5
bass 5
overdrive 2
ratio 5
master 1
presence 5
PAB engaged.

Marin-

whoa- great tones Marin- clean but with that juicy compression- nice! Hell-  that's making the wait for my Overtone all the worse! Should be with me soon I hope- been 7 weeks now since order- Nik? Nik?  Tongue Tongue Tongue AArrggh! Nurse! Nurse! the curtains!!!

Seriously- I recommend the new EH memory Man with Hazarai- it does lots of weird/fun stuff too but has a really nice spring/amp reverb sims & you can roll off the highs of the repeats & using it last night was able to get that nice Robben Ford slapback/reverb tone easily-  will use mine in the effex loop of the Overtone....one day....

Cheers, Mitch

Thats interesting. I was checking out the demo's on Youtube the other day and they were all either trying to mimic THe Edge from U2 or a 1982 Space Invaders video game.  Cheesy

So it can do a decent delay and reverb combined? Is it fairly transparent in the tone?

thanks

Marin

Here's another clean clip:

Yes, I have a EVM-12L in a combo amp with my Overtone.  This is my preferred speaker.  I've compared it with a Vintage 30, a Greenback, an Eminence Red Fang, and a Celestion G12 Classic Lead.  I did add my own version of a beam blocker in front of the EVM-12L.  You can hear it on my sound clip on the website if you wish.

Link.....?

Has anyone tried an Electo Voice EVM-12L with the Overtone?? Huh?
146  Ceriatone / Overtone / Re: Overtone Soundclips on: March 26, 2008, 12:04:25 PM
Its a japanese ES-100, a vintage 335 copy.

I have compared it to various 335's. Let say that it is very similar in quality, some were better, some were worse. In terms of the tone, I like mine best so far. The guitar is very resonant and with the Seth Lover pickups I have put in there, it sings (mind you, the stock pickups were not bad either).

thanks

I owned a MK IV. This amp sound far better.

really? how do the two compare (especially for those overdrive lead tones)?

thanks

Marin, thanks for all the great clips, you and spm are selling a lot of amps for Nik.
What kind of delay did you use on the last clip with the strat? Was that the g12-65 spkr?

thanks.

I typically use a DD-3 in the loop and then add reverb in the mix.

I have just bought a reverb pedal so I now have my "what-you-hear-is-what-you-get" setup.

I might change the DD-3 because it has a bit too much of that digital high-end sizzle (not a bad pedal overall, though). Any suggestion?

the speaker was the G1265.
