It would help if you mention what country you live in, but Mouser is World Wide......
Good Luck

Just a quick update since it's been a year. My 45/100 is still sounding great with no problems and I plan on taking it in the stuido within the next couple of months
Good Luck in the studio. Would love to see some video, or maybe a few sound clips at least......keep in touch.

Hi Nik! Glad to see you on here. I am building the Lightning kit I got from you right now with a WGS Reaper, I got it and the cab from Sour Mash cabs. I will let you know how it sounds when I finish it. Might be a little while, we are going on vacation for 2 weeks. All the best everyone,  Bob, Transformer Design and Supply  kg6epv@yahoo.com

Holy Cow!!!!!!
Aren't you the guys that made/make the original Matchless transformers?  I would love to see a guy like you on this forum. I wish you and your Father all the best of course, but it would be nice to get the opinion, of a guy like you, about the transformers that Ceriatone uses.  I went to their web sight, and I was pretty impressed by what I read. I realize that there is not just ONE transformer company that will always be the best choice for all amplifiers. But it would be nice to see Nik's trannies get some recognition.  I guess it's the same situation as with all the capacitor wars, there is no way to tell unless you would do a Blind Test with a Ceriatone OT. I can't help but think, in a blind test, that a lot of players would be surprised by how good a Ceriatone OT sounds. I don't mean to ramble on, but there has been some shameful badmouthing, via INTERNET forums, regarding Ceriatone products.
Anyway..... it is nice to see the name TD&S again.
Good Luck

I'm using eminence wizard and governor in my 2x12. If I had to choose just one I would prob. get the gov. as the wizard can be a little bright on it's own.
My wife owned a backline company. The Governor/Wizard was our default speaker combo in a 2x12 or 4x12. And I would agree with you about single speaker use as well. No single speaker is always the right choice, but I would take the Governor over the Wizard in most 1x12 requirements.

I posted in the TW forum, but did not get much traffic. Anyway.....
Does anybody know (Nik are you out there?) if the Express OT is the same OT that Ceriatone uses in their 50 Watt Plexi ?  I have an Edcor OT that is going into my Express. I was thinking of then using my Express OT in a Marshall Plexi build. I assume they are similar, I am wondering though if they are indeed the same?
Thank You

Hey Nik, as long as I have your attention......is there a link to a definitive set of instructions for the "One Wire Mod" ?
This may sound like a stupid question for such a "simple" mod, but I have seen/read a few different explanations of how to do the One Wire Mod.
Thank You

Does anybody know if the Express OT is the same OT Ceriatone uses in their 50 Watt "plexi" ?
Thank You

Give everything a good visual for cold solder joints. Those can/will/do become problematic after the amp runs for awhile.
Check all the ground and input connections, clean the tube sockets, all that kind of stuff.
Pull the chassis and play it until you start having these problems and see if you can chopstick around the chassis and find a bad component.
Good Luck

133  British Style / 18 Watt / Re: 18w tmb parts list on: June 06, 2010, 02:50:54 AM
You are asking some very general questions. Which caps, and which resistors are you referring to? They are not all the same.
You need to look at the schematic, not the layout, to get voltage values for the caps.
134  Website, Store / General / Re: Am I missing something? I must be on: June 04, 2010, 11:54:43 AM
Yes, you definitely are missing something.
Most amp circuits sold by Ceriatone are in the public domain. Those schematics, as you know, are readily available on the INTERNET, there would be no need for Nik to print them for you.
The other amps sold by Ceriatone are proprietary, and there are no schematics available.
Ceriatone is not Heath Kit. If you do not have knowledge of amps and electronics, you should purchase an amplifier that is already assembled.
Good Luck
135  British Style / Plexi Lead, Bass, Superlead / Re: 1987x Blows fuses on standby on: May 31, 2010, 07:41:11 PM
I am starting to doubt the ability of your tech, but lets not even go there.....too many unknowns.
Do you live near me by any chance.....?
Are you prepared to put your hands into a working guitar amp?  At this point, that is what needs to happen. Probably start by pulling the power tubes and seeing if the fuse still bows. Speaking of fuses, are you sure this amp has a Slo-Blo installed?  There are several things to check and procedures to follow, but do you have the time, desire, aptitude, tools, etc etc to do the work?
